Melanie had three boxes stacked up on her head, and she carefully stepped her way into the very dark Game Room. Having though ahead and brought a flashlight, she clicked it on with her free hand.
Inside her magical boxes, there were streamers, candles, cups, chips, salsa, queso, cookies... you name it! It had taken her, Annabell, and Angie a long time to find all of their needed items on the last Raid, but they had done it. The party was just about to begin!
Mel took the streamers and tape out of the first box, looked around the room for a moment, and then ran her fingers through her hair, tying it up in a bun around itself.
This might be some work...

Annabell followed Melanie into the game room carrying a large box of her own which contained miscellaneous party supplies. Setting her box down beside Mel's other three, she stood silently, awaiting instruction of some sort. Her free will had dwindled away during the long years of captivity, and she couldn't really do anything without someone barking orders at her. Still, she tried to do what she could to help and today she was helping Mel set up for this party they were having.

Mel looked behind her at Annabell, who sat her own box down on the floor. Looking inside, she found more streamers and some food items.
"We're going to need a table, aren't we?"
Mel asked Annabell a bit absentmindedly, wandering around with the blue streamers in her hand. She tore off a piece of duct tape with her teeth and reached up as far as she could go with her fingertips (Mel was fairly tall) and place the end of one streamer on the 'ceiling'.
Then she ran across the room to the middle, stuck one up there, and repeated the same process until there was a long line of blue streamer in the middle of the room. Mel crossed the blues a couple of times, then switched to the orange.
"Do you wanna go see if you can find a table?" Mel asked breathlessly, still scrambling from place to place to hang streamers.

Angie pushed the table into the huge game room. Setting it up against one of the sides, she grabbed a bunch of boxes and started spilling their contents onto the table. There were so many different party things, streamers, hats, candles, not to mention food. "Hey!" she called finally, waving at Annabell and Melanie.
Grabbing a streamer, she ran to the other side of the room, aimed the streamer and threw it. It soared and crossed over the streamers Melanie had already put up.
Pleased with herself, she prepared to let another streamer fly. This one didn't go so well. Instead, it dropped and wrapped her up in a purple cocoon. After struggling for a while, she gave up. "Um... a little help? Please?"

(Sorry for not logging in, being lazy.)
Annabell didn't have the faintest idea where she would find a table. Fortunately, she was spared from doing so by Angie appearing miraculously, pushing a wooden card table. Annabell waved at Angie when she was greeted and was once again resigned to standing around waiting for orders. She didn't stay that way for long though, because Angie had somehow managed to get in a fight with the streamers and the streamers had won. Annabell scurried over and looked the now purple Angie up and down, attempting to find a break in the shackles. "Uh..." she mumbled as she blindly started pulling at the evil streamer that was now holding Angie hostage, but to no avail. It was really a very strong streamer for it would not release its hold on Angie.

Mel was too busy, caught up in her own streamers to notice both Angie and Annabell in the corner of the room, struggling a losing battle against a maniac, long purple streamer. She dropped her own green pink streamer and ran over to Angie.
She saw a wooden table that apparently Angie had pushed in, and was grateful because she no longer had to go around the long and winding Caves in search of one.
"Oh, you've found a table! Goodie!" Mel said, and she dived into the mess of purple streamers that held Angie.
With a certain frown on her face, Melanie sighed furiously at the cage Angie was now in.
"Angie, how in the world did you do this to yourself?"
However, after a few more moments of fretful scrambling, the purple streamers came loose onto the ground.
"HA!" Mel screeched. She then proceeded to pick up the long piece of purple streamers thhatt had come loose onto the ground and duct tape them to the wall. People were already arriving, and she pointed out various ways they could help.
The Eve of New Years was donning them and they certainly weren't ready for the party.

"Thanks Mel," Angie hugged the girl swiftly in thanks. Dancing slightly, she sorted out some of the food, deciding to leave the streamers alone. She did not want a repeat.
"So, let's start!" The fireworks were ready for midnight, and all systems were go. She squealed gleefully when she spotted someone bringing a generator, an iPod and a CD/iPod docking station. She danced to the radio and set a great dance song on the loudest volume (with a ton of bass, of course). For once they didn't have to worry about souls, for even if they could hear the pumping music, they would think it was just another party of aliens in the desert. "Woot!" Angie shouted loudly.

(Sorry for using you Sky Fire)
For the first new years eve ever Ben was bored, he was lying on his bed starring at the ceiling, Earlier in the day Sky had told him about the party Mel was throwing "Go" she had said "It will give you a chance to make friends with the rest of the souls". After walking threw the caves for a bit Ben made it to the room were the party was being held.
Before he even entered the cavern he heard the music that was being played. As he entered he saw Lena dancing to some horrible tune. Sneaking over to the docking station Ben got his own Ipod out of his pocket. As quickly as he could Ben swapped the Ipods, then he set the device to full volume and put on "we will rock you". He saw Lena jump up at the music change, then tern around to look at him. "Sorry" Ben said, grinning from ear to ear "i don't like that song"

"Not a problem," Angie had no venom in her voice. "I, and Lena, like Queen too." She smiled briefly, and moved on. Tonight, she did not want anyone to spoil her fun. Not even that arrogant Ben. You're slipping, Ange. A familiar voice inside her head spoke up.
Hi Lena, Angie replied. She seemed lethargic, almost depressed. What's wrong? She asked, her mental voice concerned.
Oh, nothing, nothing. Just... nevermind. Angie was confused.
You'll tell me when you want to, right? A brief mental agreement came from Lena. Angie tried to set the matter aside, but it was still there as she slapped a carefree, albeit slightly fake, smile on her face.

Even though Lena spoke calmly Ben noticed she was glaring at him slightly. Realizing that Lena still didn't know that he had changed Ben decided to tell her.Lifting his hands above his head he said, "OK, Lena, Angie i admit i was a basted before, but I've changed now i swear. Sky Fire told me more about the souls, and that your not all evil. I'm sorry i was cruel to you and the other souls, so can we please make a fresh start? Please?." Hoping he had made a impression on Angie Ben lowed his arms.

Ben sounded sincere, but, as Lena gently reminded her, that meant nothing. Humans were good liars. Angie could understand why, but that did not make it any easier to trust them. Sometimes... But that didn't matter.
Against both hers and Lena's better judgement, Angie decided to give him another chance. Shrugging her shoulders slightly, she nodded. "Alright," she sighed. A tentative smile appeared on her lips. Okay, maybe Angie didn't trust him completely, but what could one expect? What little she knew of him was bad. But everyone deserved a second chance, right? These thoughts travelled through Angie's mind in the space of a few short seconds.
