Full Name: Ian O'Shea
Age: Late 20s to Early 30s.
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Personality:
At first Ian seems a rough around the edges, full of vengeance, kind of guy. He outwardly puts on a tough face and seems to be one of those that one might refer to as 'brute strength, no brains'. This couldn't really be further from the truth though! That tough exterior hides a kind and caring individual who's just been through too much hurt in his life. Always quick to see the better in things--and people--he is a fun loving guy who works hard at what he does. He enjoys spending time around others, and is always up for a game of soccer.
Appearance:
Tall, well built, and intimidating describe him well. With black hair and striking blue eyes he could easily be described as handsome. He has striking features that draw you to them, and his extreme build and height only add to that. Built like a football player, it is immediately clear that he is not someone to take lightly. His clothing is similar to that of everyone else in the caves--worn t-shirts, jeans, and whatever else they've happened to be able to steal.

[This is from another RP I'm in]
Ian had changed a lot in the months since meeting Wanderer--now known as Wanda. He'd gone from an uncaring and angry man to someone who saw what potential any life form had, even a soul. He wasn't entirely sure what the others thought of the change, but he saw it as one for the better. Still a soccer enthusiast as always, still rough and tumble, and yet there was a gentler side to him now. Even his brother couldn't deny that Wanda had touched--changed--Ian in drastic ways. He loved her. Had from early on, but hadn't been quite sure of what exactly he felt, or why he felt it. Horror was a good way to describe his initial reaction when he realized that who he cared for was not Melanie, not the body itself, but the little soul inside. Wanda.
Even the simple thought of her now caused a smile to lift both sides of his mouth slightly. Just then they were safe, down in their sanctuary, so there was no reason to be fearful, and yet he'd felt more and more fear of late. Though Wanda had shown them how to safely remove a soul, and to ship it on it's way; though she'd been on many missions with them and had more than proved her ability to look out for her own well being, he still couldn't help but worry. That fear of losing her would probably always be there, and with her new body, so small and fragile, he just couldn't help himself. But neither could he help the love and pride he felt each time he looked at her. She was different. Not as unique as everyone had originally thought, but different, like some of her kin, in that she understood humans. Loved humans. Was in love with a human. And she was different in that she'd turned her back on her own to help them.
He smiled again, but let it slip from his face as he considered the more serious problems at hand. The souls were getting jumpy. The disappearances hadn't gone unnoticed, and though they'd stopped for the time being--there was no point in removing a soul unless the human themselves could be brought back as it was too dangerous for both soul and host alike-- the Seekers were out in force. It was so dangerous now, for any free human, and once caught, it was hopeless to try to fight back. They had heard of horrors recently. Seekers who caught adults, had someone inserted so they could glean information from them, then pulled again and placed in a 'suitable' host--a child. The adult was then discarded, killed, seen as no more than trash. Something had to be done.
What you like about the canon character:
Ian is just so likable in his ability to see past the generals of a person and see the inside. His determination to protect Wanda is what originally drew me to the character.
Celebrity Claim: Not sure yet.... looking around.
