Most in the caves avoided this area, the ever twisting and turning tunnels that went deep into the darkest places. Angie never went in further than the first few twists, but that was usually enough for comparative solitude.
She took the small lamp, lit with a candle, into her hand. A large notepad was in the other. It was one of her prized possessions, filled with drawings, stories and several other things she took an interest to. The young girl flipped through it absent-mindedly, noting with some surprise Lena's fourteenth birthday in a few weeks.
Sighing slightly, the soul moved forth. Three lefts and two rights later, she came across her spot. Setting her things out, she tensed for a moment, unsure how to phrase her query.
So, Lena... Will you tell me what was up with you at the New Year's Bash? Angie waited impatiently for the mental reply.

Noelle still wasn't used to the dark and musty caves, and she definately had lost all sense of direction. She was looking for the dining hall, but after wandering helplessly around for someone to guide her there, Elle decided to set out on her own. My goodness, it's a labrynth in here! I'll never find my way! she thought dispairingly as she sank to the ground.
After a moment she heard a small voice just around the corner. Brushing the dirt off her cut-off jeans and standing, Elle followed to sound to discover a young girl surrounded with papers of sketches and stories. The girl looked to be around 14 or maybe 15 and deep in thought. After looking at a sketch lying at her feet, Elle bent down and handed it back to the girl, thinking Woah, she's really good. My sketches have nothing on hers! "Sorry to interrupt, but I'm a bit lost," she admitted.

"Hey." Lena picked up the lantern, her eyes shining in the dark. "Where do you need to go?" The girl was pretty, with one green and one brown eye. Way older than she was.
Remembering her manners, she said, "My name's Angie, Angelic Tale. Lena is in here too. I don't think I've seen you around?" Angie wondered what she meant by interrupting, and coloured as she realised that she had spoken aloud. She brushed dirt off her jeans as she stood up, extending a hand.

Taking Angie's hand, she smiled and explained," Actually, I woke up in the hospital only a few hours ago. I'm Noelle, call me Elle." Now that she could see Angie, Elle noticed her blue-gold eyes with the silvery trademark of souls around the pupils. So far, she knew two souls, Sky and Angie, and both were very nice. She didn't know much about souls but none of them seemed too bad. She almost couldn't believe that they had taken over the planet. Her host is still alive? I didn't know that was possible. . .I'll have to ask her about that later. "It's nice to meet you, Angie. And you too Lena. Could you show me the way to the dining hall? Jeb gave me a tour but I'm hopelessly lost." Elle bent down to pick up a few of the papers lying around and handed them to Angie. "You're really good. I like to draw too, but I'm much better at sculpting."

"Sure I'll show you. I used to get lost all the time too. You hungry?" Angie laughed quickly. It was strange, the girl didn't seem uneasy around this soul. That was almost new.
"Thanks," murmured the girl. She wasn't good with compliments. The teenager took the papers proffered and tucked them into her file. She cleared her throat nervously.
"Sculpting? I used to do that all the time on the Bears..."Angie smiled as she remembered her old teacher Glitterweaver and all of the other great memories. "What do you like to do most? I prefer doing animals. Alien species, of course."
{OOC: Sorry for the short and VERY LATE post!I was just so caught up in real-life!}

"Oh, good. I was beginning to think that I have a faulty sense of direction," Elle laughed lightly. She thought for a moment about her favorite sculpting models, then said,"Actually, I don't sculpt anything in particular. I sometimes sculpt miniature animals, non-alien of course, but I've created a dollhouse for a girl who used to live down the street from me. It depends on how I'm feeling or what's going on in my life at the time." She stopped then, thinking back to the peaceful time when she lived on Sunset Drive. The girl wasn't there anymore, probably with a soul in her wherever she was now. Thinking about the erased girl was depressing, so Elle turned back to Angie and changed the subject, smiling. "Lets go, shall we? I'm starved." Ugh, this is kinda awkward for me now, what with Angie being a soul. Why did I bring that up? "So, how do you get along with Lena? Is she like a ghost that follows you or something? I've never heard of someone still being present with a soul in them before..." she asked, pondering the idea.

“Not quite a ghost,” Angie said in a low voice. “More like a second conscience. She hides away sometimes, but mostly she’s right here . Wow, I sound so . . . creepy, almost.
The soul laughed, to alleviate the slightly ominous tone of her voice. “It can get a little crowded in here,” she joked, tapping her forehead for emphasis.
“But, yeah, it’s happened before. Mostly with older humans though. Lena, however, is so ornery that, well, she couldn't let go. Neither could I, after a while.”Angie grinned.
Angie then remembered something as they walked through the halls. “There’s another one kind of like me. Well, at least she was. You might meet her later, her name’s Wanda. Her ‘body,’ so to speak, is Melanie. They’re both really cool.”
Only a few more turns left. “Watch out for that rock,”Angie warned as she passed over a low stone. The thirteen-year-old had tripped there so many times she had it memorised.

Wow, that's amazing. Elle was trying to wrap her head around it all, she wasn't paying attention to anything else. Angie told her about the rock just in time, a second later and poor Elle would've been kissing the floor. Dodging the stalagmite, she said," Whew, that was a close one, thanks. Anyway, so there are other souls here? How many exactly? Are there any I should watch out for?" Elle gasped as she realized how much she was rambling.
"Er, sorry. I'm a bit of a blabber-mouth. I'm still a little confused, I guess," she sighed. Wow, you're probably already annoying one of the first people you meet. You've been here about. . .two hours? That's a new record.
